Angeline Bakkila always had an artistic side to her personality. She has a keen interest in music and always wanted to pursue it as a hobby. She was drawn towards Rock music after listening to the popular Rock band "Metallica". With James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Lars Ulrich and Cliff Burton, it was the best selling Rock acts of 90s. its songs such as "Nothing Else Matters "and "Fade to Black" were huge Rock anthems for the Rock music followers. She is a huge fan of "Metallica" as it gave a new edge to the Rock music by giving it intensity and by reviving the heavy metal of 80's.

After being inspired by "Metallica", Angeline Bakkila was now bent on learning Rock music. She did an extensive research and found out that Rock music is centered around the electric guitar, though bass drums and guitar also form an important part. She also learnt that in Rock music more emphasis is laid on musicians and live performance. She practiced by imitating famous Rock artists to learn different techniques used by them. The first thing she learnt was to stretch her vocal range to be able to reach the higher notes, as it is really needed for Rock singing. Another quality needed for Rock singing is to have a rasp in the voice in order to accentuate the song.

Angeline Bakkila has always been passionate about learning Rock music. She believes that, while singing Rock music it is important to gauge ones voice to check if the singing is on the right key. After mastering the basic techniques she worked on incorporating different styles of music to bring versatility into her singing. Her practice sessions helped her to secure a place as the lead singer in the local band. As she adapted herself more to the Rock singing she was able to add more flair and style to her singing.
